Hey. I do think we are the ones doing the damage by having the affair. We each have our reasons for cheating, mine was due to neglect and due to the deep desire to have a sexual connection with my husband but not be able to get it so I looked somewhere else. Seems you had the same reasons, for that we are not guilty, yet we are the ones cheating, not our spouses. At some point we have to decide, we cannot continue down the path, it will only lead to destruction I believe. The question is when, at what point can we be strong and either stop the affair and mend the relationship we have or leave our partner and seek what we need with someone else.
